Our version of 'soft voiced Al', Alexa Neumann, doesn't work on Fridays after sunset until an hour after sunset on Saturday...

so many of these require a solid and friendly relationship with our hand/eye coordination. That starts with writing - a subtle skill giving way to punching keys on a board. which begins to be reflected now in how we think. blunt stroking. thanks for the lists. sobering and inspiring at the same time.

Coming from an accountant, how about:

-Create a budget and stick to it

-Balance a checkbook (even in these days of no physical checkbooks, it helps to understand finances and helps one feel that it is not hard and very controllable)

-Learn to save or just not be wasteful (this can apply to finances and consumer use)

-Understand that not everything must be done in three seconds or otherwise be annoying - I guess this one translates into a longer attention span and the understanding that some things are worth the investment of time
